View Resource: NAC Rubric on Restart Operator Application
This rubric is used by the Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) members in Tennessee to provide feedback on each operator’s Application to Match. Each NAC member completes his/her own rubric throughout a series of NAC and operator informational meetings and submits his/her rubric directly to the ASD. The NAC is not required to come to consensus on ratings throughout the rubric. The rubric provides an example of how to collect community input on the qualifications and suitability of restart operators in the matching process.
NOTE: The ASD holds a “Creative Commons Attribution” license for this resource and requests that people interested in using part or all of the documents reach out to the ASD team. People/organizations interested in editable versions of a document should submit an ASD Help Desk ticket with their request(s).
Outcomes and Lessons Learned: The rubric should start at zero for a non-match so that it doesn’t appear that operators are being given points they didn’t earn. The NACs were able to give real input into decisions and planning after match.
