View Resource: Massachusetts Request for Information (RFI) for Level 5 School Turnaround Receivers (Operators)
The Massachusetts DESE published this RFI to solicit information from individuals or non-profit organizations that may have the expertise, capacity, and interest in serving as a Level 5 receiver (e.g. restart operator). The RFI was released in advance of the SEA’s decisions about the status of 15 Level 4 schools that would either stay in Level 4 status, exit Level 4 status, or be classified as Level 5 schools to be matched with a Level 5 receiver. This RFI is for informational purposes only to identify and recruit potential receiver organizations. No contract or work order would be executed as a result of this RFI. The MA DESE manage a separate bidding process to solicit proposals for eligible operators to match with specific Level 5 schools.
